user experience researcher & designer, adventurer
I am currently a student at the Georgia Institute of Technology pursuing a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction (HCI). My BS degree is from Tufts University in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Human Factors. How did I get to a career in HCI, you ask? In the 3 years before Georgia Tech, I took part in a range of research and design roles, starting from instrumentation development in the United Kingdom as part of the latest innovation in men’s shaving at Gillette (and no, it’s not the 6th blade) to running usability tests for a major mailing company in Connecticut (Pitney Bowes) to designing an e-commerce application for an interactive television platform in Los Angeles (Schematic).
At the moment, I am looking for an internship in the area of User Experience at a company which prioritizes user-centered design. If you are a potential employer, I encourage you to view illustrations and explanations of my recent academic and industry work in my portfolio. Please feel free to contact me with questions or inquiries.
When I am not engrossed in work or study, I like to travel or be outside. This spring will be my first triathlon season, starting with the Red Hills and National competitions. Wish me luck!
